Within my research, the Actor-Network Theory by the French sociologist and philosopher Bruno Latour
plays an essential role. For this experiment, I focused on visualizing these networks. An important
aspect is that all actors do not necessarily need to be continuously connected to each other. An actor
can be present within a network and disappear at another time or place. To visually represent this
process, I used a coding program called Processing.
Using Processing, I mapped out the complex relationships and interactions between the various actors
within the network. The software provided me with the ability to create graphic elements and visual
representations that could depict the dynamics and changes of the network.
