My thesis is not merely a passive object, but an entity that is constantly in motion thanks to its circular nature. The philosophy of my thesis is reflected through the symbolic act of planting it, turning it into a tangible symbol of my commitment to the Symbiocene. In this way, I invite others to participate in the transition to the Symbiocene.

For my second experiment, I carefully planned my thesis so that during the Finals, a symbolic message of symbiosis is conveyed. I first thoroughly wetted the book and then planted it. It was then my task to take care of it with diligence and give it time to grow and flourish.

I structured my thesis to transcend its traditional role as a static document, envisioning it as more than just a passive object. My intention was to invite readers to engage with the knowledge it contains. in a dynamic and transformative way—by planting the thesis itself. Planting the thesis and showing it, during the ArtEZ Finels, symbolises a metaphorical act of growth and renewal, where the ideas and insights contained within it take root and blossom into tangible outcomes.
